Nuon Solar Team finished in second position in the 2011 World Solar Challenge today, rolling over the finish line in a rainy Adelaide approximately an hour after victor Tokai University. Unfortunately, the team’s slogan “Back for Gold” didn’t materialise. At this time, no further news is available.

As this event marks the point in time where I’ve been awake for exactly 23 hours, have been behind the computer for at least 21 of those hours and I am now beyond tired I’m going to sign off. I’ll report on Michigan’s finishing and the positions of the teams further back later, much later.[Update October 20th, 05:00 UTC / October 20th 14:30 NT time]
